Lily Drummond is an Adelaide raised & based writer and director. Her most recent films include With Love, Lottie (2024 World Premiere: Frame Shift presented by Sydney Opera House and Accessible Arts NSW), Illustrating Sam Newton (WINNER, Mardi Gras Film Festival 2022 - Audience Award), Points of Sail (Sony Catchlight Film Festival 2024, Sydney Women’s International Film Festival 2023) and Watch Me Fly (WINNER, Focus On Ability Film Festival 2023 - Best Director). Lily has been recognised on both the national and international stage as a filmmaker to watch, with her work screening at Academy Award qualifying festivals, speaking on international LGBTQ+ and disability-specific film festival panels, and earning multiple accolades for her work around the world. Lily is proud to explore and share stories that celebrate and are reflective of disabled and queer lived experiences; stories that have meaning and the potential to evoke change. Lily is a poignant storyteller who is committed to her craft as an emerging writer/director.
